Last week I presented a Wardrobe Planning evening to an awesome bunch of ladies the Tauranga Her Business Network at the Tauranga Club, Devonport Towers... And thank you to those who gave me such positive feed back. I look forward to seeing everyone again next month for the ‘Taking care of you’ Wellbeing workshop. Please bring any friends who would like to know more about not only looking good but feeling good!!

How to look thinner!
No surprise. This is the question I am asked most frequently. There are no hard-and-fast rules, but here's how to give the illusion that you just lost 10 kilos.
- Wear darker colours.
- Wear the right undergarments - a long-line bra or Nancy Gantz for a leaner line.
- Dress in a monochromatic scheme - head-to-toe in one colour or in a neutral tone and tones of the same colour.
- High heels.
- Jackets, dresses and blouses with tailored shoulders. If you're narrow-waisted, wear a belt to emphasize your tiniest part. If your waist is nowhere to be found, dresses are fitted just below the bust.
- The hem of a skirt should fall at the slimmest part of your leg, either below the calf or just above the knee.
- Tailored styles.
- Vertical lines in construction.
- Pattern of garment.
- Accessories.
"Remember this: No one is looking at your imperfections; they're are all too busy worrying about their own."
Inspirational person and website of the month!
My passion is image fitness and lifestyle - this month I am promoting Peter Williams www.petedoesthehalfironman.com to help Support The Look Good Feel Better Foundation www.lgfb.co.nz.
"Peter Williams is 56 years old and you would know him as a news presenter on TV in New Zealand. He has always been fit but wanted a new challenge so he is now in training for the Port of Tauranga Half Ironman on January 8th, 2011."
Read all about Peter does the half ironman on his website. Follow his very inspiring training blogs but most of all please support The Look Good Feel Better Foundation who is a free service offered to women undergoing treatment for cancer, helping to restore and enhance the appearance of cancer patients during and after treatment.
What a wonderful cause - join me in supporting Peter Williams to raise aware for The Look Good Feel Better Foundation.
